A course union devoted to the promotion of the discipline of Geography, in both streams of urban growth and natural resource management. The focus will be on interacting with fellow geographically-minded individuals in a social setting, and participating in Geographic activities, such as adventurous outdoor ventures, career fairs, and opportunities to attend conferences in related disciplines.
Previous club activities have included environmental movie and documentary rights, annual camping trips, participation in the Western Division of Canadian Association of Geographers conference at VIU, afternoons spent playing disc golf, and general good times in a fun, like-minded setting.

The Hospitality Club is here to interact. Not only with our students, but with every student on campus. The Hospitality committee is here to be responsible, caring, and create memorable moments. We are here to go beyond standards and succeed to success.
By holding events centered around "the big questions" (i.e. why we are here, what is the meaning of life, how do we live well, etc) we wish to engage everyone in friendly debate in an environment of mutual growth. Past events have included movie nights, glow bowling, poetry recitations, drop-in study sessions, pool tournaments, field trips to the IMAX and Royal BC Museum, and much more.
The goal of the VIU math Club is to organize social and academic activities for students with an interest in Math.
The Newly Assembled Sociology Association (NASA) is an organization of students who are linked through an interest in the study of sociology. The main goal is to expose undergraduate students to the practical application of sociology while providing a platform for new academic experiences.
